Instructions
- Preheat the Grill. Set your grill for two-zone cooking: one side high heat for searing, the other side lower or indirect heat.
- Pat the tomahawk steak dry. Generously coat all sides with Char Crust® to create an even layer.
- Place the steak over direct high heat. Sear for 2–3 minutes per side.
- Move the steak to the indirect side of the grill. Close the lid and cook until the internal temperature reaches 125°F for medium-rare.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for 10–15 minutes.
Optional: Add a pat of butter on top while resting for extra richness, though it’s not needed. - Slice against the grain and serve immediately.
