Serves: 2
Sweet, savory and incredibly flavorful, Char Crust Ginger Teriyaki creates a delicious crust while helping seal in the salmon's natural juices—all in one simple step. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner that's worthy of your favorite seafood restaurant.
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets (6–8 oz each)
- Olive oil
- 4 tablespoons Char Crust® Ginger Teriyaki Seasoning
- Fresh lemon wedges (optional)
Directions
1. Prep the Salmon
Pat the salmon dry with paper towels and lightly brush all sides with olive oil. Generously coat the flesh side of each fillet with Char Crust Ginger Teriyaki.
2. Grill Setup
Gas Grill: Preheat to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
Charcoal Grill: Prepare a medium-hot fire and arrange the coals for direct grilling.
3. Grill the Salmon
Place the salmon skin-side down directly over the heat. Grill for about 4 minutes. Carefully flip and grill for another 4 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the Char Crust seasoning has formed a beautifully caramelized crust.
4. Finish
Remove from the grill and, if desired, serve with fresh lemon wedges.
5. Serve
Delicious with grilled asparagus, steamed rice, roasted broccoli, grilled pineapple or a fresh cucumber salad.
Char Crust Tip
For the best crust, generously coat the salmon with Char Crust Ginger Teriyaki and resist the urge to move it around while grilling. Let the seasoning develop its signature crust while helping seal in the salmon's natural juices.
