All American Barbecue Pulled Pork

Instructions:

  1. Preheat smoker to 235 degrees
  2. Pat the pork butt dry
  3. Score the skin (optional)
  4. Coat the meat fully with Char Crust All American Barbecue dry rub
  5. Place meat on smoker, cover and baste with apple cider vinegar every 45 minutes
  6. Once it reaches 165 degrees, the bark should set. About 4-6 hours.
  7. Pull the pork from the smoker, spritz, add more rub, wrap it and place back on the smoker.
  8. Once the pork is probe tender, around 200 degrees, it's ready to pull. About 4-6 hours.
  9. Shred the pork and serve on its own, with sandwiches or make a crescent ring.
